SCHOOL POLICIES
Florida Statutes 475 states no student may be guaranteed a
passing grade and no refund can be given if a student fails the end of class
exam.
Students cannot miss
more than 8 classroom hours of any required course for licensure. The time
missed can only be for death of a family member or medical emergency of the
student. The exact course material must be made up in 30 days. (One hour
of classroom time equals 50 minutes).
No recording or image
taking devices are allowed in the classroom.
Cell phones must be
turned off during class, unless permitted by the instructor.
Recruiting for
employment by a brokerage firm is not allowed during classroom instructional
time.
Smoking is not
encouraged but is permitted in designated areas outside of the building
only.
Adair Real Estate School
reserves the right to dismiss anyone from class for any disruption
determined to be detrimental to the class, a student, instructor or course
content. This determination shall be made by the instructor.
The end of class exam
must be taken on the day scheduled.
Adair Real Estate School
reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any class or course for
unforeseen circumstances. Class will be suspended in the event a hurricane
warning is issued for the area and will not continue until the threat
expires. If a class must be rescheduled, ever effort will be made to
reschedule at a time suitable for the greatest number of students.
A $35.00 service charge
will be charged on any NSF checks.
There is no dress code
but students are requested not to ware any garments that may cause
distraction or be considered inappropriate for a classroom environment.
Discussions will be
limited to the material being covered. We realize there are many ways to
solve a problem or achieve a desired result but we ask that no one
introduces other solutions contrary to what is being taught. This tends to
add confusion for some students and can be disruptive to the class.
Full tuition is required
with application for any course. In the event you are unable to attend the
class you may apply the tuition to a future course or request a refund minus
a $40.00 administrative fee.
